So is it possible that I have lost 6.2 lbs going into day 3? My wife has lost 8.4 lbs. Is it just water weight?

No-one can tell unless you had a 'dunk tank' measurement taken before starting Atkins and had another one taken today
But whether it was all 'water weight' or not you have both started off well

Wow what fantastic losses for you both im getting jealous I have restarted induction and im also on day 3 and only 2lb loss so you can see your off to a great start keep it up!
