  • Preparing for 4th 1st day. lol

    Ok so once my ex-bf is moved out (august 1st) I will be restarting from scratch for my 4th time. I am so tired of falling off and it hasn't helped having someone in the house that is unsupportive. Once he is gone and I am back on track it will be quite some time before I getin another relationship. I need to get on track and get in the routine again (as I once was).

    I still have all of my necessities. The book, a carb guide for reference, low carb recipes for all phases, the OWL ladder, and new found will. I have made sure to keep these things in plain view so as to jolt myself into doing what I know I need to do. Everyday I see these things and remember how good it felt to be 150lbs. I remember losing 40lbs on Atkins and how it made me look forward to losing more. After dealing with 3 deaths (family and a dear friend) spread out over the last 8 months there has been way too much stress to keep on something I just started. Now that I have dealt with all these things I am now ready to begin my journey again because I am not ready to see them again so soon.

        Hi and welcome back Mirya -- make sure you eat a variety of foods, get your fats, carbs and protein in daily, drink 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), take supplements and exercise. Check the STAC for additional support Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. We also have challenges for members to join, some are exercise related and some aren’t. Also start a journal and post your thoughts along the way.

                  If someone wants, they can always find plenty of excuses to eat junk. To be successful, I think it is often overlooked that it takes a commitment with no blame towards others. It is about taking control of your life and loving yourself enough not to follow someone into the carb abyss.

                    I don't mean to be rude or anything - just throwing some thoughts out there. Why are you waiting till this xbf is gone? Why are you letting him have so much power over how YOU eat? You deserve to focus on yourself and you deserve to do that today no matter where this person lives and who else is around you.

                      I had to wait because he was eatn the food Ibought for my induction instead of eating te regular food I had bought for him to eat. We had seperate shelves and I couldn't afford to keep going out to buy the things I needed for my induction if it was just going to be gone the next day. He is finally gone now and I am starting on Oct. 9th 2009. I WILL do this just have to wait now until finaces are stable again. Thus why I a now waiting until the 9th.
