  • Question About Seaweed?? (Nori)

Okay over in the restaurant forum, we were discussing sushi and someone brought up that nori (seaweed) is not on the acceptable foods list for induction
...So when is it allowed? it is a very healthy food that I love and was thinking that it got neglected off of the list because it wasn't as popular as it is now.....Anyone have any ideas? I would like to know what rung we can add it in.
    Thanks in advance~

I would add it back in rung 1, but that's my unscientific opinion. I wouldn't want to skew/mess up my induction results by eating it the first two weeks. However, be careful for added sugar since most nori I've used in the past has Japanese writing and therefore, unknown (to me) ingredients.

Rung 1 OWL is the best place to add that and other low carb veggies that didn't make it to the Induction List, such as watercress.

Slap, you have the right to be worried. Seaweed is a popular snack in Japan---so much so that there is a product called "seasoned" nori. They are strips of nori flavored with teriyaki or some other kind of sugared flavoring. So read those labels very carefully.
