  • Cream

On the back of the cream carton, it says 0 carbs. When I fill out the fitday form, it calculates it as 1.3 carbs per tablespoon. There is no fiber involved.

    Which is correct?

I am in ketosis and losing weight gradually but noticeably. Yippee.

    Re: Cream

The "cream" item in FitDay has 1.3 carbs per oz, so about 0.65 carbs per tbsp. Are you using heavy cream? That has only 0.83 carbs per oz (so 0.42 carbs per tbsp). Search "heavy cream" to find it.

Because the carbs per serving (1 tbsp) are below 0.5 g, the manufacturer is allowed to write 0 on the label. You should go with the FitDay count, since that's the correct one.

Also remember there are limits on the amount of cream you are allowed to eat during Induction.
