  • Sounding stupid but starting Monday....

    Hi all well im sure all my posts are starting to sound the same
    Im starting atkins Induction Monday
    after careful evaluation of my attempt at induction ive come to realise i messed up and did a great big fat job of it too
    So the only way to give myself a good honest start to this WOL is to be honest , admit i f***ed up and start with a good 'Clean' Induction, that way Im not cheating myself either,
    Ive purchased a Ellipitical (sp?) machine at the weekend and plan to use it and not let it collect dust i plan on 10-15min x 3 per day aswell as doing the Abs challenge and Water challenge to try and keep me accountable i really want this and ive gotta stop finding 'excuses' and just bite the bullet and go to it all guns blazing!
    Wish me luck no scrap that , keep me supported i CAN do this but only with you guys to lean on while i get there xxx

      I think we've all done the 'excuse' thing...that's why its so important to do this for yourself - you can't fool yourself as easily as you can fool someone else. If you cheat, you're only cheating yourself out of success. It sounds like you've found the right attitude...keep it up!

          well good going i know its only Day1 but then we all gotta Start somewhere!

          Breakfast:- 2 poached eggs (sprinkl sea salt)
          3 rashers of Bacon
          1 mug decaf tea with 1 portion splenda and teaspoon cream

          Lunch:- Chicken (thigh-1)
          Mixed lettuce salad (-romaine, lambs leaf and iceberg)
          Heaped teaspoon of mayo
          two slices green bell pepper
          sea salt and pepper

          Snack:- Hard Boiled Egg
          3oz Chedder (hard) Cheese

          Dinner:- Fillet of Fish (white fish) sauted in butter
          1 Cup steamed veg (Brocoli & carrots)
          Salad (mixed lettuce as above with teaspoon mayo)

            Don't be so hard on yourself, we have all been there and done that. Yes, its easy to make our excuses and fall off the wagon for whatever reason but you stood back up, dusted yourself off and started again.

            The main thing is that you realised it and have come to a positive decision to start again with an extra tonne of positive mind set and exercise equipment.

                    I forgot all about that! I have to do measuerments today. good luck with not weighing....I cant do that. I dont have enough willpower yet.

                      Starting Day Two with some hope. I had to laugh about some of my almost unconscious habits of reaching for carbs throughout the day Monday. Stayed within my twenty carb limit, although this was a challenge. Off to make breakfast and pack lunch. My thoughts are with all of you second (and third and fourth...) day induction clubbers.

                        Haha. I know, this is day 4 for me. Its so funny to see your subconsious habits of reaching for carbs. I was riding into work and even though i had my egg salad with me, i "forgot" and said to myself, "Don't forget to grab crackers on your way up to the office". An old habit of mine. Of course as i was getting out of the car, i grabbed my egg salad and went on my merry way. But it is crazy that subconsious

                          it was hard when reaching for a bag of crisps and had to slap myself so luckily i could manage to nibble on one or two pork rinds instead phewy glad there was an alternative!
