They are acceptable on Atkins, but only from OWL Rung 2 on. That's because of the nonfat milk solids.

BTW, is this a low fat product since you didn't list the fat content? Remember Atkins is a high fat, moderate protein, low carb diet, so during Induction you should aim for something like 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs.

Thanks for the info the percentages will prove helpful

        According to the Nutritional Information

        Fat Per serving 20G

        Fat- Total = 5.8G
        - Saturated = 3.7G

Kraft cheese fails to mention on the packaging that it is low fat however I have noticed the Milk Solids Non Fat in the Ingredients

I have noticed the use of Nisin (234) & Sorbic Acid (200) should I be concerned with these preservatives.

No, they are fine. But as I've said, no Cheesticks for now. Look for some "real" cheese instead.

Since you have Kraft there, do you have Cracker Barrel cheese sticks? Those would be allowed during Induction. Their ingredients are pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes, annato (color).
