  • ideas to up FAT intake?

I hate mayo and last night I cooked some ground beef with butter- ugh it was gross. I'll just keep using the butter with the eggs in the morning and bacon.

My fat intake right now is 40-50ish% :[

Any ideas on how I can up it without adding more protein :\ ?

Stir fry veggies in butter. I add bacon to salads...but that does add some protein. Oil&vinegar-style salad dressings...sour-cream dips for veggies...

Sour-cream dip for veggies that sounds delicious!!

I'll stir fry some veggies in butter and then dip them in sour cream!

I'll make sure to put more olive oil to my salads.

      Seriously, thank you!!

Why are you looking to increase your fat intake? Does that make losing weight easier or faster?

Atkins is a high-fat, medium protein, low carb diet. You have to have enough fat in your diet to get into ketosis.

Ranch dressing with raw veggies or salads, cooking with olive oil and butter combination if you detest butter so much, deviled eggs, hot chicken wings with ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing.

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.

When you are on Induction, your ratios should be 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs. If my percentages are off, my weight loss comes to a screeching halt! LOL
