    well 2 days down of induction clean. still no change in the ketostix(negative)
    Struggling to stay off the scales until next Monday morning..I am going to try the meatloaf tonight that uses the bacon rinds for filler. Who knew bacon rinds could be so many things...It makes a great cereal as well. I just finished a 3 mile walk this morning and will do more after supper tonight. I have to go and make some revoltion rolls today. I have a big order coming from Netrition this week. I was getting low on my vanilla syrup and a few other things.
    Well off to get the baking done now before it gets to warm...

    It usually takes 2-4 days to get into ketosis and the ketostix might not change color even when you are in ketosis. Physical signs of ketosis---decreased appetite, more energy, metallic taste in your mouth, different smell of your breath/sweat/urine---are often more reliable.

    Good for you to be exercising and experimenting with new foods! Sounds to me like you're doing great.

      It normally takes me 3-5 days depending on how bad I may have been before hand... drink lots of water!

      Thanks for the tip - I took out hamburger meat from the freezer, meatloaf sounds like a good change of pace! I took out bacon also, think maybe I'll wrap that around the meatloaf! YUM!

        I too am on day 3 induction like you the ketostix are showing negative but like Georgiana says im noticing 'signs' ive got less appetite and funny taste in my mouth most of the day and something funny going on with my wee
        resisting scales till end of whole two weeks if i can feeling hopeful

          Thanks for the advice on the keto stix. I will await patiently for the little pink to appear I have to cook for my hubby as well as myself so sometimes it takes more to make a supper but tonight he is getting just what I eat(and yes he could also use the Atkings way) But he refuses to eat things like cauliflower or asparagus..Plus likes his couple of glasses of wine with his dinner. I am hoping that as the weight comes off me he will be inspired to give it a try or even try the South Beach diet..still low carb.
          Well I got my revelution rolls done I always seem to get 6 muffintop pan ones and a nice square one made in my 8 x 9 pan out of the one mix. The square on is really nice to cut in four then I can make a sanwich out of 2 of them. LOL I guess it also brings the carbs per roll down even more.
