I haven't been on here for about a week. My grandmother has surgery and something went wrong. It has been a long and painful week for everyone involved. My grandmother passed away yesterday at 4am. Thankfully, I and also one of her son's were with her. I did pretty good on the program while having to commute and stay in the hospital with her. I only got off the program a couple of times and they were minor infractions but I know they made a difference. I have gained back 2 pounds. I have 2 more days of traveling and services and such and then I am back to schedule. Part of the problem was I feel like I have sat for 6 days between the hospital waiting rooms and driving back and forth which was a 4 hour round trip. My whole body is sore and I haven't even done anything strenuos. Also my blood sugar has elevated up to 170 and I know some of that also is due to stress. Anyway good luck to everyone on their paths and I will update again soon.

Re: Induction restart
If you feel you are out of keotsis go back to induction for a couple days to get back in -- then move forward. My sympathy on the loss of your grandmother - stay strong for the service.
Keep in touch and get back on plan as soon as possible. You've come a long way, don't let this derail you.Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: Induction restart
My heart goes out to you right now, Jenny. With everything going on, don't sweat the small stuff. Right now it's all about family. When things settle back down, then you can refocus on yourself and your WOL.
Prayers going up for your family.
