Today was great! Every 6 weeks my personal trainer makes me weigh in and take my measurements. I shocked her. The scale has not moved since I started working out in January (just my measurements change). I'm on a natural high right now.
Day 1 - hard because I really wanted a glass of wine with my dinner salad
Day 2 - harder because I drink coffee every morning. I had a sip and tossed the rest and went to the gym.
Day 3 - hardest because I got a bad sugar craving and asked my fiance to remove any and all sugar from the house (he chose to eat the birthday cake
).
Day 4 - easier, full of energy
Day 5 - easier, got a headache when I had Splenda with cream cheese and was hungrier that usual. Learned a lesson about artificial sweetner and how my body reacts to it
Day 6 - easier - chose to be the designated driver for my friends so I got to enjoy the time and experience with my friends without the pressure to drink
Day 7 - easiest - the look on the trainer's face was priceless!
7 more days to go and honestly, it's getting easier! I love reading this forum when I get discouraged because reading the experience of others helps me deal with my issues. Also, if I'm bored, it's a great way to pass the time.
