  • Day15

well today is end of Induction, I have lost a total of 7.6 pounds, ½ in off bicep,½ off forearm,1 inch off waist,1½ off my chest,1½ of my hips and 1½ of my thighs in these 2 weeks. I have lost a size in my clothes.
Now I am going to decide whether to go on to OWL or stay on extended Induction as I do still have a lot to lose. Will remain on Induction for this week to make up my mind

    Congrats.

You should figure out what your degree of metabolic resistance is by using the metabolic resistance charts in the book. That will help you plan the rest of your Atkins.

Be aware that Dr. Atkins wrote the only people who may benefit from extending their Induction are those who have high metabolic resistance to weight loss because extra Induction may correct the metabolic imbalances that inhibit weight loss.

      Re: Day15

not2late thanks for the input, I am going to sit down now and reread all about moving to the next phase and see what Dr Atkins has to say. I read the book before starting Induction and I have read many parts over again since then. My metabolic reading is just about average at 7.6 pounds lost in the 2 weeks.
I am not bored with the Induction menu(how could any one be?). I will finish rereading the OWL section and then with the feedback here I hope to make a right decision. If I go wrong then I can always come back to Induction for a few days and reorganize..Off for my walk and then finish reading..will come back on later.
