  • Am I eating enough???????

Hi everyone! Yesterday was day 3 of induction. I ate a lot more veggies the first 2 days, but yesterday was hard...I didn't want anything but salad. Am I eating enough?

    Breakfast:

Pizza toppings: half tomato, few green peppers, 2 oz cheese, 9 slices pepperoni

    Lunch:

3 fried eggs, 4 bacons strips, 3 cucumber slices

    Dinner:

2 cups lettuce, bit of feta cheese, oil and vinegar dressing (3 tsps, 2 carbs), 4 oz steak

One thing that I have found is that my consumption will vary. If you ate 7 days in a row like that I would say it is probably not enough, but I think you might find further in that you will vary your intake a bit. You'll be more hungry on some days and less on others. Just make sure you are taking your supplements.

Doesn't look like you're overdoing the veggies, and if you're not hungry, then definitely don't force yourself to eat.

(Make sure your pepperoni doesn't have sugar, dextrose, etc. in it).

Isn't it wonderful not to be hungry! If you are concerned I recommend www.fitday.com to figure out your calories and %'s. It is free. You want to be eating around your BMR. You can go higher if you are exercising. It is good to check in with fitday every now and then to keep yourself on track. Lots of people use it daily.
