  • Question Regarding Fitday

Hello, I am new to this sorry.

I am trying to add chicken to fit day, I am starting atkins on Sunday but just testing some things.

Anyway it is saying 150g of chicken has 20carbs.
I can't find a chicken that has less. I am sure chicken does not have that many.

    Re: Question Regarding Fitday

Is this plain chicken? As in chicken breast or thigh? If you add a prepared item (like chicken wings) fitday will guess you added sauce or something. Also pay attention to whether you are adding chicken that has been breaded.
Fitday is great. But you really have to all most things in its raw form

      Re: Question Regarding Fitday

Okay thanks for the advice. I just picked chicken from the list. I will jsut be more careful and make sure I read it correctly.
I'm trying out some menu Ideas
and I'm getting carbs to be 12g with the 2cups salad, 1 cup veg.
I am not sure what to add to make carbs go to 20g from aceptable list. So Just going to read that again now.

        Re: Question Regarding Fitday

There is a LOT of choices for chicken. I scroll down to find the pieces that I want in the baked/roasted category. For example: 1 medium thigh with skin eaten is 152 calories/ 0g carb / 15g protein.

One other tip...next to the pie chart is the totals breakdown which has fiber broken out. We count net carbs which is total carbs minus fiber. Good luck and welcome!

No need to get exactly 20 net carbs on induction - the 20 is a maximum - as long as you are getting 'most' of your net carbs from your 3 cups you are doing fine
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
