I'm the kind of person who starts something and then looks to see if I'm doing it correctly. I WASN'T. I made every mistake in the first week that you can make. I ate Atkins bars a couple of times because they are convenient and the box says that it is acceptable for phase one. It's not. I drank diet soda. I ate cheeses that are not ok for candida cleansing - which I am also doing. The combination of the two is really strict. I ate way too many pork skins. I drank caffeine ALL day. I still managed to lose 3 pounds - probably because I exercise alot. I craved sweets all day -probably because I was PMSing and I was hungry. But I didn't quit.
Today is a new day and I finally got the book. I have cut out the fake sugars and am down to one half decaf cup of coffee in the morning. I am weening myself becaue I was afraid I was going to get a headache - Surprisingly, I feel great. I do have the advantage of owning an ionic foot detox machine and I am sure that is what has kept the headache away.
I will probably do induction for an extra week to compensate for the bad first week and a half.
The point is GET THE BOOK!

Fortunately, I found this site, printed out the food list and went by that. But reading the book helped me to understand so much more about what I was doing.



It is an important factor to be successful in this way of eating/living.
