Hi everyone! Im 5'4 and have a bmi of around 21.

I started atkins on sunday. I wanted to loose weight cause i want to get bk to my weight i was (7st 10) before i was on anti depressents, i came off them to loose weight-im off them a good month or so, theyre all outta my system.
    Its day 5 today.
    I started at 9st 4 pounds
Yesterday i was 8st 13 pounds (i probably just lost water weight, i dunno?)
Anyway today when i weight myself i was 9stone and a quarter.
    Does everyones weight fluctuate?
And will i still loose weight even tho im normal weight?
Im eating 2000-2200 calories a day. JUST 20g and under of carbs!!

My ketostix stick was purple..it was the 3rd darkest purple!! So does that mean im doing ok?

It depends. Your body might be at a weight which it considers healthy and what you need could simply be some toning. How old are you? Age also plays a role in how fast we lose weight.

And yes, it's perfectly normal for your weight to fluctuate from day to day. Sodium intake, digestion, hormones, muscle recovery all play a role there. If the number on the scale upsets you, then don't weigh every day.

The color on the ketostix just means you are using fat as your main source of fuel. It does not matter how light or dark the color is. Darker color could be caused by dehydration, by the foods you ate, by exercise, by the time in day when you test. Make sure you drink at least 64 oz of water every day.

    Are you exercising?

PS: I hope you went off medication at the advice and under the supervision of your doctor.
