    Do Pork Rinds figure into Induction? There aren't any carbs and technically it's just pork parts, but I wasn't sure. I am a potato chip junkie and was thinking pork rinds might help me transition. I'd also read they are good to mash up and roll zucchini in so you feel like you're eating fried zucchini when you bake them. I was just wondering if they are induction approved and haven't seen it anywhere specifically.

    Re: "Some Helpful Hints For Those New To Atkins" {revised}

    Pork rinds are indeed induction approved.
    Just watch the ingredients some brands and types add spices or something with carbs - so buy the no carb plain stuff.
    They are also good to use when making fried chicken or heroin wings.

        just watch the sodium in them Sarah -- that's what got me. I know a lot of people who have no trouble eating them, I'm just not so lucky ;(

          Re: Pork Rinds

          Yep they are allowed...do be aware that just because they are legal that they do contain high calories so still need to be used wisely so no plowing through bags of the stuff. I find it helps my portion control if I actually put the amount I want to eat in a small bowl rather than eat from the bag.

          Read the labels...I don't know if there are any induction legal ones that are flavored. These taste yummy with a Tbsp of sour cream and some homemade legal salsa mixed together....another reason I use portion control.
