    Exercise

    Ok here is the thing.
I have been jogging and keeping active...eating properly and have lost 5 lbs in the first week! Thats great right? Well anyways...I noticed that I am retaining some water and I am not really sure why...I feel as though I have gained (even though the scale says I havent!) So after a strenuous exercise do you retain water? I've googled this and found nothing.
Does anyone get this? Bloated type feeling after a workout?

Yes I believe I have read somewhere on here about after heavy exercise your muscles will hold on to the water for a bit. Keep drinking and it will come off. If not then phone a gym and ask..they would know or go and see your doctor. Keep up the good work!

OMG I'm so on the same page with you!!!! I'm starting week 2 and in week one so far I've lost 5lbs but I've just been so thirsty for water I'm drinking 48oz or more a day and I'm feeling so bloated. I don't know what to do either?

        Re: Exercise!!

Lulu, 48 oz is not enough...the recommended minimum is 64. Most people find their better off with even more. I seem to do best with about 80 oz/day. You may want to try a little more...

Hi Jules, After a fast start, I have hit a stall in weight but have lost inches; a pretty fair trade off. Glad you are exercising, I'm betting this will make a big difference. Keep up the great work. You have the sound of a winner.

            Hey guys,
is it possible to drink too much water? I've had about 5 710ml bottles of water today. Not sure how many onzes that is though. Is it possible I'm having too much?

That's 120 oz. I drank this much and more without any problems.

Take a multivitamin to supplement with water-soluble vitamins & minerals. Did you check with your doctor to see if you need any additional something, like potassium?

I think the only time you can have problems from 'too much water' is if you gulp down a huge amount at once.

Make sure you space it out and I am sure you will be fine.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
