  • I CAN NOT believe it!!

So I know I should wait at least a week before hopping on the scale because I don't want to become a slave to the numbers, but I wanted to monitor my first few days of progress. I have a scale that checks not only weight loss, but also percentage of body fat as well. So on Thursday when I started I was 343 lbs, 84% body fat (eww), and a 60" waist. Well, last night (at the END of the day even) when I checked everything after I showered, I was 334.5 and 82.4% body fat, and a 58 1/2" waist. Now THOSE are motivating results if I ever saw them. I've never had a diet work like this before (I know I know, it's not a diet). This gives me the encouragement to keep going with it. Thanks so much for everyone's support and encouragement. You have been invaluable in this journey thus far!

Re: I CAN NOT believe it!!

Great results, that's for sure. You should be comforted to also know, that there is no way you are 84% or even 82% bodyfat. The highest percentage bodyfat I've ever seen reported in a female is 68% or 69% percent (can't remember). So, don't be discouraged with the 82% number since your measurement appears to be way off. That being said, however, you can use that number as an adequate baseline to track your progress downward... I'd hate to hear you see people referring to 20-30% body fat and think you're actually that far away from those areas. You're much closer than you think.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                            How fantastic! Stick with it!

Even when I did low fat, I ate too much of hte low fat stuff, and I always felt stuffed, and fat after I ate a meal. On this way of living, I feel satisfied, and I never tend to over eat. I love that!
Re re starting this time for good with the support of my husband. He is doing this with me.
