  • Excercise on Induction

    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. Im on day four of the induction (first timer), finding it very good so far, despite the headaches etc. I was just wondering if I can exercise whilst doing the induction, and whether this will speed up my weight loss. So far I have lost 6 pounds in 4 days without exercise, and just wondered if exercise would speed things up a bit.

Hope your all getting on well.

    Speak to you soon.

    Re: Excercise on Induction

Hi Martin! I just finished Induction and exercised most days. I'm just starting a regular exercise routine so my workouts are pretty light compared to many here who can ride bikes or walk/run for miles.

I don't think you can depend on the scale as the sole indicator each week of your weight loss. And remember everyone loses at different rates. What I'm trying to say is that you can't go wrong by exercising. It WILL definitely help your weight loss. Might not be this week or next but over the long haul, it will help.

Have you read the book? Dr A says that exercise is non-negotiable -- it's a must if you are going to get all the benefits this WOE has to offer. This includes induction.

Great job on your loss so far and good luck for much more!

Take some ain releaver for your headache and get out and start exercising -- you may find it a little more difficult to exercise the first few days but like the book says "exercise is mandatory". Try going for a walk, or a swim and start working up from there. Good luck.
