  • What else can I do with eggs??

I'm getting so bored with hard-boiled eggs and cheese omelets. I really don't like putting vegetables in my omelets so that's out of the question... I need more food options, I'm dying here.

You don't have to eat eggs, especially for breakfast.

Did you check this thread out? It's one of the stickied threads in this forum.

Also take a look through the recipe section of the board.

sausage is a very very tasty food for me, and mushrooms. Oh i do some damage to the mushroom population

A lot of people have leftovers for breakfast. I enjoy some strips of bacon and maybe a couple of cheese cubes or cream cheese on celery is very tasty

Experiment! There are seriously 156748013840615647+ (rough guestimate) ways to make food that is induction friendly So have some fun with your food! If you think something sounds good, try it - you might just like it!

if for some reason you really want to eat eggs you can search our recipe data base for egg recipes by typing egg in the search line.
On Atkins you can have any food from the lists at any time. I have left over dinner for breakfast a lot or eggs as opmletes for dinner. taco saald is a great breakfast meal.

            Scotch Eggs

            Try this.....

            SCOTCH EGGS

Hard boil 6 eggs, cool, peel off shell.
Split a small tube of Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage into 6 pieces.
Wet your hands with a little bit of water.
Encase each egg in sausage and set aside.

Normally I would dip each ball in a beaten egg and then crushed cornflakes but since we're "Atkinsing" either leave plain or possibly try dipping in flax, crushed pork rinds, those low carb crackers that have been crushed, or whatever you long time Atkins folks can come up with.

Bake uncovered at 400 for 40-45 minutes or until sausage looks done.

Serve with an Atkins friendly Hollandaise or white sauce.

EVERYONE will love these, even the kids.

I know you just said you are a bit yawnlicious on the egg situation, but you know what I love?

Throw some green pepper, cherry tomato, purple onion and chopped green chiles in your eggs (pre-scramble) and then top with a slice of pepperjack and 2 Tbsp salsa.

                It is the yumm-estest!

I am not an atkins expert yet but here is what I do with eggs, I boil eggs and add mayo and tuna. Its really good! Also you can use boiled eggs, mustard and mayo for an egg salad, another thing is deviled eggs, I am not sure if pickles are okay or not some one will have to let us know but if they are you could and relish to all of these.

Pickles are fine as long as they have no sugar added to them and are made from veggies from the acceptable foods list :yes
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
