...I didn't plan out my breakfast very well last night. I made it to work with a container of mustard and two hard boiled eggs. I should have grabbed some lettuce, or some kind of acceptable veggie, but I was too rushed this morning.
So now I am sitting here at my desk at work feeling slightly nauseous, and while I'm not HUNGRY in the hunger sense, my body is asking for something to take the edge off and the water isn't cutting it.
I will suffer through it for another 90 minutes until my scheduled lunch break, but I won't make that mistake again. It's quite uncomfortable.
The real test for me starts today, as my parents (who cook a lot of meals for me due to me working so far away from home and having two kids I need to feed as well - and of course helping us to save money) are home this evening. We've been looking after their house and their dog for two weeks, but I've been cooking Atkins style since Sunday.
I am still feeling really good though - I'm actually waking up in the morning and not needing to lay there while I wake up.
I am hoping to do some pork loin for supper tonight. Going to look up some recipes later on. Will pair it with a salad tonight as I'm having asparagus for lunch (leftovers from my supper last night). So will get in my leafy veggie with cucumber, mushrooms, and peppers tonight.
9 more days and I'll be off this board and into the extended induction one, hopefully I haven't become too annoying.
