Thanks for posting this! I'll be attending my sister's wedding on September 19 and I intend to be strong! My little sister is doing Atkins with me and plans on having cake--I'm not convinced it's important enough to ruin a whole day with. I'm already trying to plan my own snacks if necessary!

It's quite appalling isn't it?

Thankfully force feeding me food hasn't happened since I stopped living with my parents.

Simply awful....

Now your parents have the right idea---forcing you to eat things you don't want to eat.

And the other people should follow suit. For example, when you go to a Fast Food place, the employees there should hold you down and shove french fries and ice cream sundaes down your throat. In fact, they should grab you when you are on the sidewalk, drag you in and start the force feeding procedure.

See you need people to blame when you make the decision to veer off your diet. If you don't, then you'll have to blame yourself and what fun it is taking responsibility for your own actions?
