  • strange dizziness?

Has anyone else experienced this? I woke up this morning and I feel like Ive taken some kind of painkiller or something. I feel unstable and wobbly and I am really dizzy. Ive eaten breakfast and I downed a bottle full of water thinking that might help but still feel really weird!

    Its day 8 on induction

    Re: strange dizziness?

Did you have some veggies with your breakfast? And what did you have for dinner? Low blood sugar can cause that.

Are you taking any supplements? And did you check with your doctor to see if you need anything in addition to a multivitamin? An electrolyte imbalance (e.g. low sodium, low potassium) can make you feel nauseous, weak, fatigued... Something like a potassium deficiency (common during Induction) can evolve into more serious health problems.

A bunch of other things could also cause you to feel dizzy and lethargic. Better drop by your doctor tomorrow.

Eat some veggies now, with a bit of fat and protein. If you have low blood sugar, that should help.

Did your doctor recommend the iron supplement? I'm asking because on Atkins we are usually told not to take a multivitamin with iron, since most of the foods we eat are iron-rich and too much iron is toxic.

yea Ive been on one since my son was born, I have been anemic for awhile. Ive been recently checked and the levels are OK.

I took a nap with my son for an hour and I feel a little better. Can you get Induction flu this late in the first week?

You started your second week today, right? I doubt it's Induction flu.
