  • Jicama

I bought and tried Jiacama for the first time. I searched the net for a way to prepare Jicama (besides eating it raw wither salted or with lime, both very good).
I found an idea of cutting into strips like French fries and sautéing it in butter and then sprinkling some cinnamon on top. It was SOOO Delicious. My question is about how to count the butter. Since I am not consuming all the butter used to sauté the strips, how can I measure the amount of butter I ate?

And also I presume I should measure the jicama before cooking because it shrinks a lot.

    Re: Jicama

what I did initially was measure the butter before using it then scrape out what was left in the pan and measure that to work out how much on average was used up aqnd add that to my fitday log.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
