  • Diet rite made with splenda???

    Am I allowed to drink diet rite made with splenda??? I love soda and I drink one can a day. It had 0 carbs and is made with splenda is this okay to drink on atkins or induction??

    yes sweetz it is ok but limit it to only 1 can a day

      It doesn't count towards your daily water requirement of 64 ounces Plus an additional 8 ounces for every 25 pounds you are overweight.

      Furthermore, 1 serving (see the serving size on the can) counts as 1 of the 3 daily artificial sweetener allotments.

          If I were you, I would try to avoid drinking any soda, even that made with Splenda for the first 14 days. We are trying break old habits here!!

          Having said that.......after the 14 day induction.......

          Here in Upstate New York, there is a brand of soda " Waist Watchers " that is made with Splenda - regular cola, root beer, citrus frost ( tastes like the old soda "Squirt" or a bit like Mountain Dew) .

          I would absolutely limit yourself to 1 can......if you are going to drink it.

            Definitely avoid it for the first two weeks, and work on learning to drink your 64+ ounces of water. :yes
