Not eating enough Carbs?

  • Not eating enough Carbs?

    Ok so for the past few days I have been doing well on atkins but when i paid attention to my foods on my fitday thing I noticed my carb counts is very low, and my fat is kinda low and my protein is high
    Cals Fat Carbs Protein

    Totals.
    982

    64.2
    6.5

    113.4

    The dietary carbs are 2 (So do I subtract or add that to the number?)

    My percents are
    54% fat
    2% carbs
    44% Protein

    I dont feel weak or sick or hungry or anything i was just wondering about that.

    Can anyone tell me am I doing it right?

    Current WWeight 198
    Goal Weight-106

    Goals
    1. 40 pounds by November (homecoming)
    2. 75 pounds by March (birthday)
    3. 100 pounds by June (Prom)

    Are you working on your three cups of veggies. Just get them in and then don't worry about the carbs (but eat more veggie carbs that other carbs)
    And yes you are not eating enough fat. You need oil, butter, mayo, dressings.
    And you are eating very low calories as well - you certainly want an average higher than 1000.

      Alright thank you!!

      How much fat should I be eating?
      I am eating all the veggies (mainly salad) (either 2.5 cups or 3 on a good day)

        Don't eat only salad. There is a wide choice available
        on induction so try to had variety. I usually try to eat
        10-12 different veggies on a week long period to get the most nutrient
        I can.

        As for fat, 65% should be your goal. And as someone said, you don't eat enough. You will starve your body, and this is not god.

          Fat should be around 65% of your calories.
          You could slowly make the adjustments. You want to get into ketosis and get the fat ratio right.
