Re: FitDay Program
From what you describe you subtract the 2g fiber to get 8g net carbs.Originally posted by Mbudlite89 View PostI downloaded the program and i was wondering if when it says carbs e.g. 10 g and then it says dietary fiber.. e.g. 2 g...do I subtract the 2 from the 10 or is it automatically subtracted?
Are you using the FitDay PC version (the one you pay for & download)? That's the one that I use and I like it much better than the online version.
With FitDay PC to have Net Carbs automatically calculated for you, while looking at the Food Log:
- Click on View in the Toolbar above
- Click on Current View
- Click on Choose Food Log Columns...
- Click on the little box beside Carb - Fiber to put a check mark and enable that feature
That's it! Now that column will show you the Net Carb count.
p.s. FitDay PC is also great for entering Recipes (Custom Food in the Food Explorer) to get the info for a serving of the recipe. Great for concoctions that you might invent and have frequently.
