This is my second time trying the diet. Last year I did great but, had to quit since I wasn't able to prepare my own food. Today is my first day back on and I am having an upset stomach and running to the bathroom frequently... I don't remember THAT happening. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that for the past week, I have slowly been cutting carbs in preparation for Induction.... or maybe my body is different that last year? Anyone?

i'm new around here tony but..u should rethink eating 5 eggs in one day...a can of tuna or some deli meat is good. i wouldn't eat 2 eggs after having 3 in the morning. just my pref. try to mix it up for variety...look at the book for ideas. spread out your carbs and make some salads. go easy on the broccoli during induction. best wishes.

welcome to ADBB and back to Atkins.
Not everything that happens to you will be because of your Atkins. you could have a touch of food poisoning. Since you just started today it is very unlikely that your bowels moving after one meal is Atkins related at all.

ensive I feel like a dork, ha I zeroed in on my shock of someone eating 5 eggs in one day, I overlooked the original question. I concur with 2big. I'm no doctor but i have a degree in chemical dependence so if I can ever help anyone who is hurting themselves and past the denial stage...don't hesitate to ask me. Make sure you are getting your veggies in as well.
When I tried Atkins a few years ago, I wasn't doing it right and didn't eat enough veggies and had the same problems.
It helped me alot using Fitday to track my carbs and I noticed that if I spread out my carbs over the day, I had less nausea.
Or it could be just something you ate that didn't quite agree with you.
