Re: Herbal Teas- which are safe
I make a tea specifically for people on diets. Its an all natural herbal tea. Green tea with ginger, cinnamon, hibiscus, and damiana leaf.
Nettle and Fennel are both very good, like Pretty Polly says. I like the Damiana because it helps keep blood sugar levels steady, which is what we're trying for on the Atkins diet.
Overall tea doesn't have a lot of carbs, so unless they have bits of chocolate or are pre-sweetened as many processed berry teas are, they should be ok. I personally try to drink 3-4 cups a day.Bellajgw aka Jacqui

Re: Herbal Teas- which are safe
Many are also fruit teas. I would guess we stay away from those. I was looking at Camomile's ..thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to pick some of them up!
