  • Cheese :)

So i used to eat lots of cheese and i'll admit i used to go over the 4oz permitted a day - but i still lost so thought what the heck.

Now I'm on plan again 6 months later and i notice that just the smallest amount of cheese can hinder my weight loss.

Does anyone else have issues with cheese? Even in small amounts? Does anyone not eat it at all because of this?

    Re: Cheese

Unless you weigh the same, eat exactly the same foods, do exactly the same exercise, drink exactly the same water and take the same supplements, your weight loss results will differ during Induction. It also depends what you ate during your two Inductions --- poor nutrition will lead to vitamin deficiencies, which can hinder weight loss.

It is also possible that cheese slowed down your weight loss during your previous Induction and you were simply not aware of this.

These days I usually eat 2-3 oz of cheese. I had some trouble with Candida at one point and had to stop eating cheese for a while. I've lost a few inches while/after I got rid of Candida, but I don't think they came off simply because I stopped eating cheese.

If eating cheese, even in small amounts, affects your weight loss, you might want to test for Candida.
