      Welcome to our ADBB family

It sounds as if you are well prepared and ready to become a loser!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Welcome! I just started this WOE two weeks ago and this website has been a huge motivation and support - not to mention a learning tool.

I am starting a second two weeks of induction today so we will finish up at the same time. How much weight are you wanting to drop?

            Re: Starting Induction tomorrow!

Thanks, guys! I am looking to lose about 20 pounds for now (gained a lot since I was married last October!). Today, I did better than I thought I would! I had absolutely no cravings, felt full throughout the day, and felt great about myself. Here was my menu, tell me if it sounds ok cause I am still new to this, but I tried to measure everything correctly and have been on here 24/7 lol.
Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs with melted cheese.
            Snack: Atkins Shake
Lunch: Cucumber Salad with Romaine Lettuce and 1 tablespoon of Good Seasons Italian Dressing
Snack: Atkins Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar
Dinner: Chicken Breast (dipped cutlets in mustard) with 1 cup cooked broccoli & cauliflower.
Fluids: 5 16oz. watter bottles throughout the day
            Vitamins: Women's One-a-Day

I do know that I need to eat more veggies, so I will make sure tomorrow and the rest of induction I get my 12-15 net carbs for veggies. Other than that, I think I did pretty good. Thank for all the support, this website is my new best friend!

You are right about the veggies. Here we follow the book (not the website). The rule in the book is 3 cups of veggies from the allowed lists. Do you have the book?
If not you can check out these links for allowed foods to find out how to put together the cups of veggies
http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?)
http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)

I would drop the shake and bar. I know the website wants you eat them (they are a commercial company that make their money from people eating shakes and bars) But we find that these items often stall people in their weightloss and have ingredients not allowed in induction (like peanuts!!!!)

Also you may need more foods at lunch. This is a fat and protein diet - salad and just a bit of dressing is not quite it. How about a bit of tuna with some salad?

Don't forget to add fat in your cooking.

I recommend using FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to figure out your carb count and to figure out your fat percentage (about 65% of your calories should come from fat on induction)
But not a bad start. Keep going

                  Re: Starting Induction tomorrow!

So today I have really felt the cravings, but have NOT given in, and I do not plan on giving in! I am finding it hard for me though to get my full 12-15 net carbs of veggies! Doesn't 12-15 net carbs equal several cups of veggies? That is my only struggle, but other than that I did great today. Day 3 is tomorrow, I hope I can eat more veggies... thanks everyone!

                    Re: Starting Induction tomorrow!

You do not have to do the 12-15 carbs of veggies. You have to have three cups. As I said above that 12-15 carb thing is not in the book.
Glad to hear that you had a good day.
