  • Hard Cheeses

So I see we can have 3-4 oz. of soft and semi-firm cheese but I was wondering if there was a limit on hard cheeses like parmesan and romano. Are they induction friendly or do I wait till the dairy OWL rung? I didn't see it mentioned in the book but I did see a recipe that used parmesan that I believe was induction friendly.

The limit of 3-4 is for total cheese - that would include parmesan and romano.

Great, thanks. I was worried some were not until the dairy phase.

Fresh cheeses like ricotta and cottage cheese are not allowed until OWL Rung 2 (diary). This is the Induction Acceptable Foods List: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html

And these are the OWL Rungs: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...te-ladder.html
