    Hey everyone,

    just thought I would share my amazing weight loss. I know I shouldnt weigh before 1 week on induction but I just cant resist plus it gives me a great boost to see that this wonderful life changing diet is working. Does anyone think that this is way too much weight loss for 5 days? I have another 46lbs to go! To anyone thats a bit sceptical of trying this diet I urge you to give it a go! I had my reservations, Im not saying that its a walk in the park but its certainly alot easier than weight watchers or any other belly buster diets out there!

    Anyway just thought Id share

      That is great. I would not worry unless you're feeling unwell or have stopped eating or something.

        Congratulations! We have almost the exact same stats (as far as start weight and goal) Reading of your success is inspiring. keep up the good work!!!

                I'm on day two and lost 3 lbs. I have set my goal for 76 lbs so I guess I am at 73 left. I really am looking for a buddy to work with on this. Nobody I know is willing to do this with me and Weight Watchers and all the measure the food count the calories just is not for me. Keeping it simple is what I need. Ifound a great Whey Protien shake to have in the AM and PM that has 0 cabs and tastes GREAT! I think it will help me when I feel like cracking. Are you working out as well or just the AD. I hope by day 7 I am down by 12 that is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

                  Well done newme and minimac for your losses so far

                  I notice minimac that you are intending to use protein shakes a couple of times a day - better to eat food rather than add too much protein in a drink

                  Remember Dr Atkins did say that excess protein will be converted into glucose, and that Atkins is a high fat/medium protein/lowcarb way of eating, not a high protein one.

                      Thanks Elizellen, wow your before after is GREAT!!! You go girl LOL. I did sort of kinda forgot that. I have to pull out my book again. Today was Day 3 and things were good. I packed my food in little containers and programed my cell phone alarm for ever 3.5 hours so I could rememebr to eat. I know REMEMBER to eat yes. That seems to be my issue. I do not eat all day long and then I come home load up and fall asleep. SO I at all day and kept carb count well under the 15 and now I am ready for bed. I too am a scale freak so I weighted myself ,,,, 246 so five pounds on day 3. I had regular energy today but I am waiting for that crazy burst of energy to hit, that should happen by day what???? Someone please tell me. Iona, you can do it. I am excited to see you here raring to go.

                        Well Hello ladies today is day 5 and 7 lbs gone. I feel very good and I wish I had hit 12 but I am very happy to be getting smaller. I guess I just decided that this is the time to do this so no holding back. Should I have lost more on Day five ?
