  • Need to lose 14lbs!!!

Hi everyone!!I'd like to start by saying what a fantastic forum this is!!There is a wealth of information.Well done to all involved.
I am 25 years old,5ft 4" female and I currently weight 133lbs.I know this isn't much but I desperately want to lose 1 stone...my clothes no longer fit me&its really getting me down!I did my own version of atkins in 2005 where I just ate chicken, fish, eggs and even strawberries and melon...I even drank diet coke!!I managed to lose 2stone.
Over the past couple of years I have gained one stone&would love to get rid of it.I intend to start induction on Mon 21st Sept.I understand it will be a slow process as I don't have much to lose.Is there anyone on this forum who may have the same or similar stats as me who can give me some tips&info on how to succeed well.I am desperate to lose this weight.

Take deep breaths. The weight will come off. Maybe not as easy as before but it will. However you did not do Atkins by the book last time it looks like and you may have to do it this time.
So follow the rules of induction.
Here are some threads in our FAQ that will help you.

Hi good to see another Brit on board!!

I am glad to see you are making plans in advance as the best tip I would give is to plan your meals so you are not caught out and have to make a sudden decision on what to choose! We had a member whose signature contained this quote
Failing to plan is planning to fail!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
