I just started induction 2 days ago. ive been eating eggs butter cheese cucmber with dressing(2 CARBS) baked fish in mayo tuna wraps with pickles, cottage cheese...... and im used to eating sugar everyday!so twoards the evening i start to feel kinda warm, just a a little hotter than comfortable. and then last night i started to get the most horrible cramps in my lower abdomen and they would come in waves. i had to stop what i was doing and cringe while i wait for them to pass.lastley i also used the ketone stick this morning and it read negative. should i be feeling this way?i think i might have gained a pound? i need some advice please.

That's right. No cottage cheese during Induction. And only salad dressings with no added sugar and not more than 2 net carbs per tablespoon are allowed. This is the Acceptable Foods List for Induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html

Sometimes just the change of diet can actually cause your stomach or intestines to be irritated. It will pass. Ditch the cottage cheese, pick up a copy of DANDR (or at least visit the pages on this site that list the allowable foods) and keep at it!
