  • Induction - Begins 5/11/05

    Hi,

Well, I used to weigh 280 lbs. I did the Atkins diet and went down to 250. Then, I Christmas came and went and I of course cheated on my diet every day. It is April and I am still not able to get back on the Atkins diet. The main reason being that I feel aweful during the day.

I hadn't realized this forum existed until 2big4mysize mentioned it to me ... So here I am ... :wave

I will post everyday through the first two weeks to let you guys know how it is going. Day one begins tomorrow ... I am going to weigh myself tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if I am weighing in at 260+. Anything below that I will consider a small victory. :confused

Ok, thanks for your attention and see you guys tomorrow evening.
    Started Atkins on 10/23/06.

Welcome to our ha family Oscar :wave
As well as posting here why not pop over to the Century Club forum where those of us with more to lose than some tend to congregate, and introduce yourself.
To boost your weightloss it might be an idea to join one of the exercise challenges - one has only just started in the 'triple digits losers' category and I am sure you are not too late to join. No big commitment - you just state what you hope to achieve each week and then report on how you did.
Here is a link to it http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ic.php?t=70189 if you want to take a look.
I look forward to accompanying you on your progress along the Atkins Way! I started out at 280 but you being male and young will probably reach goal before I do!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
