Hi,
I lost 2.5 initially, and now I'm back to my starting weight. This is unbelievable. I have been exercising, walk/jogging almost daily, sometimes twice a day. I have stuck to the diet, eating no more than 20 net carbs per day, and only sticking to allowed foods and amounts. The only thing I did wrong, was had a few protien shakes, which were all less than 1 gm carb per serving, sweetened with Stevia. I feel like I'm in induction, as my appetite is very low, and I do have alot of energy. I'm only 39, and have about 35 lbs to loose.
I'm wondering if my metabolism is just so messed up, from the past years of dieting, overusing alcohol, and taking birth control pills (just went off of them 3 weeks ago), that I will need to do the special diet for screwed up metabolisms, where you only eat 200 calories, mostly of fat, about 6 times a day.
Atkins mentions it in his book. Does anyone know what that particular diet is called?
It's very frustrating, being so strict, and not seeing results.
