  • Day 7

Its day 7 and things are going well. I have resisted all the temptations.. I haven't had a problem eating the right stuff. I even made Jicama (sp) french fries last night. They were great. I haven't weighed again yet. I think I will wait until next week. I do feel better. Especially since I got off drinking cokes. I am driving on. I don't want to be fat, overweight, obese, packin pounds, fluffy, or any other name that goes with this. Patience and perseverance. I will succeed. I always thought I could just read this forum and be quiet and not post or say anything. I now feel even if I use this forum to write my progress or feelings, use it as a journal and then add the support and comments from all of you that read it.....it helps me to keep going on. It gives me a boost. Thats all for now.

Congrats on making successfully making it for 7 days, I have the same thought as you, even though it works for most I do not think I wan't to weigh in but every couple of weeks, just the way I set my goals, I know if I stay with the program I will drop weight every two weeks, but if I weigh in every couple of days and don't loose, or even gain I'll get discouraged.

How did your first 14 days go? I calculate they must just be ending now.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I am doing ok. I still need to tweak my menu some more and pay more attention to hidden sugars. I need to exercise more. I am fixing to go play golf. Eating in this fashion is getting alot easier.
But like I said I need to watch out for the hidden sugars. I feel better, Still haven't weighed yet but have dropped a snug pant size. I'll take what victories I can get. The support from this forum is great and I find tons of inspiration from all of you.

              Great shrinking!
It might be a good idea to weigh after the 14 days to see what your metabolic resistance to weightloss was according to the chart in DANDR.
