So today I'm 3 weeks postpartum from having a baby.. I start induction on Monday.. I had a C-section so I'm not cleared to exercise until after my 6 week appointment.. I'm gradually getting back to where I was before, in terms of doing things without pain.. Will the fact that I cannot exercise for the next three weeks stall my progress.. So far I've lost 7 pounds.. I'm looking at extending induction to at least four weeks because I have so much weight to loose and I cannot exercise. Just wanna know what you all think..

Re: Exercise and Induction..
Just in case you missed it - just remember that one should not do Atkins induction while nursing.
Also right after birth and for a while your hormones will be up and down so it may not always be a smooth weightloss period.
As for exercise - just wait till you are ready. It will be fine.

Re: Exercise and Induction..
I had a c-section with my boy. I was not able to do Atkins at the time cos I was nursing. I found I was able to walk a few blocks by week three. A few km's by week 6. But it was a while until I was able to start lifting again. I had a complicated birth though. Wait until your body is ready. Otherwise you will just set yourself up for pain and frustration.
Good luck! Congrats on getting right to the weightloss after birth that is great!
