Can you have flax seed meal in induction and wasn't there a way to mix it with heavy cream, splenda, and butter making it like cream of wheat or something?

Re: Ok so I went grocery shopping - so I'm definitely OP TODAY! Flax question
If I remember correctly...I think we are limited to a certain number of tablespoons per day...and it is meant to be used for regularity in Induction. Someone please correct me if that is not right.
There is an informative post on this subject...

Chauber is correct... you are only allowed so much on induction & should only be used if you are having issues going to the bathroom.
In some people it also will cause you to gain lbs instead of lose. How does one become a butterfly?
You must want to fly so much that you're willing to give up being a caterpillar.

For daily fiber supplementation (during Induction) you are allowed 1 TBS of flax meal per day.Originally posted by Privettewife View PostCan you have flax seed meal in induction and wasn't there a way to mix it with heavy cream, splenda, and butter making it like cream of wheat or something?
Here's the thread for flax meal "cream of wheat." The OP recipe uses too much flax meal for Induction but if you scroll down, determined2shrink uses 1 TBS and more water.
p.s. Make sure you keep your flax meal in the fridge or freezer as it can go rancid easily.

We should avoid Flax Seed on induction but if you need something to keep you regular we are allowed 1 TBLS. a day. It is REALLY freaking awesome as the cream of wheat mixture but I am just as partial to a dry spoonful of it but only because it has a rick nutty flavor. Supplementing With Fiber
Fiber-rich foods include vegetables, nuts and seeds, fruits, beans and whole unrefined grains.
During Induction, your primary source of fiber will be vegetables. (In later phases you will be
introducing the other sources of fiber in the order aforementioned.)
How can you get the benefits of fiber without the carbs contained in these foods? The answer is
supplementation. I recommend that you take one tablespoon of psyllium husks daily. Be sure to select
a sugar-free product. You can also take one tablespoon of coarse wheat bran or flaxseed meal.
Although it's derived from grain, coarse bran is pure fiber and therefore it too contributes zero to your
carb count. Psyllium husks should be mixed with water. You can sprinkle bran over your vegetables
or blend flaxseed meal into a shake.
Drinking the recommended eight glasses or more of water daily is also essential to avoidsignificant amounts of fiber, increase your intake gradually to allow the intestinal tract to adjust.
constipation. You need to accompany any increase in fiber intake with plenty of water.
Be aware that fiber is one place where less is more. Consuming too much can block mineral
absorption because food simply doesn't stay in the digestive tract long enough for your body to
extract valuable nutrients. Gas, flatulence or constipation can also result. If you haven't been eating

Just use 1 TBSP. a day ONLY IF neededOriginally posted by mizski View PostFor daily fiber supplementation (during Induction) you are allowed 1 TBS of flax meal per day.
