  • I think I found an induction friendly restaraunt...

Old Country Buffet has chicken, steak and salad. Good place to go for induction, if necessary. Just an FYI.

Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right.

Are you taking into consideration the manner in which they prepare theood such as marinating and seasoning? That will add carbs to a normally low-carb or no-carb food.

try this link. Almost every retaurant has induction friendly foods. Its just matter of checking out the menu.

I don't know that restaurant but most things in a buffet will have corn starch and sugar, maybe wheat. Usually safe things in restaurants are steaks, burgers (no bun), that's about it. You have to ask what they marinate the chicken in.

I think we can all agree that dining out selections are questionable no matter what they are. Old Country Buffet does have a lot of low-carb options but it is a mine field of temptations.

I go to Boston Market when I didn't have time to prepare lunch at home and get their roasted chicken, green beans on the side, hold the cornbread. I'm not sure if/what they marinate their chicken, but it's the best out of the options close to me when I can't stand the thought of another salad.

I've been off of sugar, corn sweeteners, wheat, and some other things for many years. I've been in Boston Market and I think I remember them saying that I couldn't eat the roast chicken but they may have some plainer chicken. Something tells me maybe not. Almost everything in a chain restaurant will have some kind of sugar, wheat, something on it. Hate to rain on everyone's parade... Also ask what's on the green beans.

Have you checked on-line for the ingredients in that "roasted chicken"?
