  • Hello.. Its official...My first day

    Ok so here I go. I am drinking my decafe coffee with half and half cream...yuck but I will get used to it unless I drink it black.

    I had breakfast....1/6 of the spinch and mushroom quishe on Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Home which was really good and 3 pcs of bacon.

    I was to go to my brothers today for a coffee and cake thing for his birthday but I declined. Instead I am going to see a friend I have not seen in awhile.

    before I leave I am having some ham on lettuse and a bit of cheese.

    Dinner is meat and veggies

    Snack later is veggies.

    I am excited. I have done the "plan" a little over the weekend and I have already moved my ticker as I went for 167 on Friday to 165.5 today...its water but hey its less...Looking at the website, the research I have been doing and this board, I think I am going to be eatting much better then I was before.

    I have 1 whole quishe, 6 salmon muffins and chopped veggies ready to go in the fridge. I am doing this...I will do this...

    Please walk this journey with me..I need all the support I can get...

    Looks like you're on to a good start. But ditch the half and half, because half of it is milk.

    And have your veggies with some fat and protein.

      hmm, I thought I read somewhere that half and half was ok, the book maybe, not sure but ok...I shall ditch that

      I shall add a hardboiled egg to my vegetables today. I have them ready in the fridge too..

        I use heavy cream in my coffee...I believe that's allowed (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

          Correct - heavy cream (double cream in UK) is fine as long as you stick to the limit on induction
          Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
          Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

              yes I know that it but I thought I read somewhre half and hlaf was okay too. I'll change that for sure.
