    Today is my first day starting induction..Ive done Atkins in the past and im starting again for the 3rd time....I want to lose 17 lbs.....Im doing it with my girlfriend since we are both new mommies and we need to lose that extrra "baby fat"...Its great to have a support I wish everyone luck...Ill will be back to update my progress....And to share ideas!!!

    It is great you have an Atkins buddy close at hand to keep you motivated :joy :joy
    Even though you have followed this WOE (way of eating) before try to make time to re-read your book to make sure you havent forgotten anything important - like drinking all your water or exercising. and if you have any questions just ask - you have hundreds of internet buddies here wanting to help.

        Hello

        Today is also my first day of re-induction. All has been well and I'm determined to make life changes this time!

          Thank you Well today is Day 2 and doing Great!!! Wasnt even craving any Foods What do you all normally eat for lunch..That is the only thing i have a problem with I have been eating lettuce wraps They are really good but dont think I could eat that every day for 2 weeks

            Welcome. I want to make sure you are not breastfeeding because induction is not appropriate for breatfeeding mothers. If you are please try the maintenance phase of the diet until you are done.

              No breastfeeding here My son is 9 months old on Friday I did Atkins when my son was about 7 months old and lost 11 lbs in 2 weeks...I decided to stop and then I needed to start again Thanks for your concern though

                LUNCH

                Today, I'm having some mixed greens with buffalo chicken strips (homemade).

                I agree, that lunch can be a little tricky but I usually try to get my salad in at this time.

                  Good Luck Kristy!
                  I've found having food items such as veggies pre-cleaned/cut up helps a ton. Try grilling extra chicken breasts/fish/meat to use for lunches.
                  Make some crab or egg salad to keep handy as well as hard boiled eggs.

                    I thought you werent allowed to have Veggies during induction?????

                    What kind of veggies can we have??????

                      read the stickies above for complete list we have a nice pritabkle carb there too and buy yourself a copy of the lastest edidtion of DANDR it will be the best investment you make in yourself at only $7 brand new.
