Ok so i have a cheaper digital scale that differs greatly from my sisters more expensive weight watchers scale. Although i can track my weight loss I'm confused at what weight I should really go by, without buying a third scale! lol I'm thinking that the more expensive weight watchers one is prob more accurate than my cheapo one, atleat I'd like to tell myself that! I'm going there today to weigh myself and might change my weights from there, anyone else find a great change between scales???

    highest weight 360lbs

    current weight 295lbs

It doesn't matter which scale you use. Just stick to the same scale or else you'll panic for gaining 10 lbs in 2 minutes or get excited for losing 10 lbs in 3.

Take body measurements too. They are the best indicator for fat loss.

Isn't it easier to use your own scale? Maybe weightwatchers fix theirs low so that people think they are losing more on their program

        Re: scales...

        Let's say scale A reads 200 pounds

        Scale B reads 195 pounds

If you lose 5 pounds it will reflect exactly the same on each scale. As long as you use the same scale you will always have a good indication of your weight loss. Just make sure you weigh yourself around the same time of day, I prefer in the mornings just after waking up.

I use the scales in my bathroom -- when I go to my doctor's office they can vary from 3 to 5 pounds - but when I weigh here I have my pajamas on -- when I go to the doctor I am fully dressed so I don't think the "price" has anything to do with it. Weight Watchers is a brand name so your sister bought a name - you bought a scale. Whatever you started on is what I'd stick with.

            Re: scales...

If I hop on a scale and it says a weight, and then I hop on again and it says a different weight, I don't trust that scale. So I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and stepped on ALL their scales and picked the one that didn't vary from one step on to the next... I have no idea if it weighs the same as my doctors huge scale, but when it says I lost 10 lbs, I know I lost 10 lbs. The actual weight really doesn't matter...

I guess you are all right. I wasn't meaning as to think that I had lost more than I did I meant for accuracy of my actual weight, did you think spending more on a scale made a difference. I'll just stick to what I have...but if I have to replace it at anytime, it better be the same...well less is ok LOL

If it's higher, just up your start weight... Could be you weighed more in the beginning than you even thought you did...
