  • Monkey wrench has been pulled out.

Well guys I posted a while ago in the new member's section and left by saying I would be lurking and learning and would start posting soon. I was so gung ho and excited, but as fate would have it I got into an accident and have been in the hospital for the last while.. I'm alright now and there was no permanent damage, but obviously I wasn't really worried about maintaining a low carb lifestyle while in there.
I'm back and ready to start induction again and start learning and gaining motivation to make myself healthier, thinner and happier.
You guys rock, re-starting induction right this moment.

    -J

P.S. Sleeping in your own bed is underrated. Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.

Re: Monkey wrench has been pulled out.

I'm not fully recovered by a long shot, but being home is going to help. Today I had some eggs with ground beef and tiny bits of fried bacon. Medication I'm on makes me really really tired and I hate the feeling but I know I can't take caffeine to perk me up. I'm going to go find a place on this massive board to start a food log, or just include it in my blog. Maybe I'll join a challenge or something. Thanks for the reply.

I'm glad you're back and on the mend. If you are going to have an ongoing recovery period, maybe it would be a good time to start a journal, it will give you some place to put all your thoughts and hard work as you continue the road to the new and improved you. Good Luck!

Re: Monkey wrench has been pulled out.

You guys are the best, thanks for all the support. Trying to get back on track here, my wife thinks I'm crazy for trying to diet right now but I really do feel better when I'm eating real food. Body's pretty bloated up right now and I'm just hovering between a few pounds but I'm not worried. I know this is a marathon, not a sprint.
I'll start a journal soon, thanks for the links!
