  • Climbing out of the hole

Well, I weighed in today and discovered I gained 11 pounds since 7/31...
Trust me it ain't muscle mass.

so back to basics , stop cheating, be consistant with exercise.
Stop using food as an excuse to eat when i am lonely sad or depressed.
It is upsetting to gain weight, but I acknowledge I was wrong and move on.

I struggle with stepping on that scale sometimes but I know I have to do it regularly so I can catch myself sliding. Glad you caught yourself. Now keep it up

Great attitude Jimmyolsenblues.... From looking at your chart, you know what to do and how to get there. We just need to decide what is important, right? Good luck!

Re: Climbing out of the hole

I'm walking morning and night practically every day no matter what. Apparently this is on of the most common factors among people who lose weight and keep it off. Maybe you could try it? It certainly gives you more energy and makes you feel stronger. I am still very heavy, but I don't feel it!

Glad you are aware of why you have been backsliding. The emotional eating is the hardest to break. Think now about other ways to comfort yourself or to relieve boredom and write them down. Put them in your wallet. When you are feeling that way, pull it out and act on it in a positive way.
