  • Had a reality check and am back again!

    Hello!

Its been awhile since I was on this board. I have always struggled with weight and eating and my weight has now ballooned up to 250 lbs. I am ready to put the past behind me and am looking forward to a healthy future!

I still have my atkins book and have reread it and I am planning to start tomorrow!

Thanks for taking the time and reading this...

You were really smart to re-read the book before restarting so that you are fully prepared. It sounds like you have a great plan for success this time around.

Best of luck to you. Let us know how your first day goes. I know it will be great!

Welcome back DEET. This time focus on the healthy and not the skinny and take your time. Its a marathon, not a sprint (thanks whoever posted that line--so true)

Re: Had a reality check and am back again!

Hello! Sorry I have not been updating! Just getting over the flu I tried to stick to Atkins but honestly didn't eat much while I was sick. I am feeling well enough to stomach more protein so let's see how this goes!

By the way, is there an induction approved soup recipe?

            Thanks!

Sorry to hear you've been sick. You might want to check this thread for ideas: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...alescense.html

But right now it's important that you get better, so try to eat something and keep yourself hydrated. Once you feel better, you can worry more about weight loss.

Plenty! Did you try Linda's website: Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Soup Recipes ? The Induction-friendly recipes are marked with an asterisk.

I like an egg drop soup myself. But yeah focus on your health and then we will talk shop again.
