The book doesn't list a limit. However, we had a member here who was part of the Duke University study when Dr. Atkins was still alive. He limited those folks to 1 cup of pork rinds daily.

Frankly, what might give folks problems is the salt content of the pork rinds. The salt might cause water retention.

      Hi Sally :wave
In case you aren't sure here are the conversions
      1 cup = 8 US fluid ounces = 236 millilitres

You will need to use a measuring jug if you dont have US measuring cups and fill it to the 236 ml mark then tip them onto a scale to find out how many grams it is.

      Hope this helps

          Hi Elizellen

In regards to your kindly provided measures, you gonna think Im really dim, but re: 1 cup = 8 US fluid ounces = 236 millilitres

Do I fill the measuring jug with pork rinds or fluid to find out how many grams it is, coz if its fluid thats really heavy :joy !

          Many thanks

236 mls is a volume measurement so you need to fill up to that mark on the jug then tip them out onto your scales and weigh them to see how many grams they are. Then you know for the future how much is the equivalent of a 'cup'

BTW you can buy sets of 'cup' measures from most of the big supermarkets - I have seen them in Asdas and Tescos.

Thank-you very much for your help,
and it works out to be 60 grams, thats still a
good amount bit I could get more in if I crushed
              them down...

I think crushing them defeats the purpose. Kinda of like Dr A says you count your cup of spinach raw before you cook it because it cooks down and you will get too many carbs when its cooked and you measure a cup.
