When i put my menu on fitday to track my carbs....most of my carbs came from mushrooms and onions that i eat with my eggs in the morning. My actually leafy greens only came to about 3.0 when the mushroom and onion came to about 7. If im under the 20 carbs for the day can i eat more lettuce or do i strictly need to stick with only three cups of veggies a day. Because on a normal day i eat about only a cup of lettuce and another one of the 2-3 cup vegetables and one cup of the 1 cup only vegetables.????

Also... I seriously doubt those 3 carbs are net carbs. Remember we count net carbs on Atkins, not total carbs.
Eating more than 3 cups is fine as long as your NET carbs are below 20 g. But you do not have to eat lettuce, unless you want to. Lettuce is fine, but instead of eating an enormous amount of it just because you have carbs left, it is better, from a nutritional standpoint, to eat a variety of veggies.If im under the 20 carbs for the day can i eat more lettuce or do i strictly need to stick with only three cups of veggies a day.
