      >>I couldn't tell you what my calories are becuase i thought that we really did not have to count those.>>

If you're using Fitday, the total calories is listed.

Also, the fiber is listed on the pie chart ... so you can subtract there, too.

If you don't want to do math, you can use All Things Food and Diet - FatSecret ... which will show you net carbs.

~Georgiana~ Using my fitday i consumed 1565 calories today. Now idk if that is enough becuase i feel full but i know thats a little low based on my body weight if i were on a normal diet. So if you know any infor about where my caloric intake should be i would really appreciate it. thanx

Yes, that's not enough. Now, if you have one low calorie day for whatever reason, it's not going to be the end of the world. The problem is if this is your typical caloric intake.

I made this post in another thread earlier today:
You can calculate your caloric requirements (and a few other things) using this calculator: Diet Calculator, Body Fat Calculator
However, keep in mind that the calculator is not designed specifically for Atkineers. Some things may not apply to you.

This calculator will help you find your BMR: BMR Calculator.

A low calorie diet, especially when coupled with low carbing, can mess up your thyroid.

Also... a low calorie diet likely does not give your body sufficient nutrition (dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, essential amino acids).

So... you need more veggies (there are 54 on the Acceptable Foods List --- plenty to choose from) and more food in general.

How much water do you drink?
